There’s Chance, whose mom was able to catch up on work and finally get some rest while he stayed at Ryan House. From the bounce house to outdoor time zooming around in his wheelchair, Chance made the most of every room in the house. Take Annalise and her older brother Bryce, whose mother relied on Ryan House to give them a sense of normalcy and fun while she navigated moving to a new home and settling in. Annalise enjoyed arts and crafts, while Bryce reveled in his favorite activity: playing practical jokes. The joy on their faces during their stay was priceless, and their mother was grateful for the time and space to ease their transition.

And there’s Toya, a single mother who caught up on sleep and spent time with friends, knowing her son Donovan was safe and happy. At Ryan House, Donovan’s days were filled with laughter and sunshine, from exploring the sensory room to playing outside on our adaptable playground.

Their children require complex, round-the-clock medical care that few people can provide—care that includes managing tracheostomy tubes, feeding tubes, and seizures.
