One Raspberry
A Message of Hope and Courage
A brief but touching book about two young girls caught in the horror of the Nazi occupation of Poland in the 1930’s. It underscores the weight of a single, selfless gesture and the impact of just a few words and how the two together empowered one to “hold on.
Gerda Weissmann Klein, author of several books and the subject of an Oscar-winning film, One Survivor Remembers, survived the Holocaust and spent years carrying a message of hope and courage, and the challenge to all she met to leave a legacy.
Matching Gift
Did you know many companies offer a matching gift program to encourage philanthropy among their employees and that some companies will even match to spouses and retirees? By simply completing a matching gift form through your employer (on-line or paper), you may be able to double, or even triple, the impact of your gift. Contributions of any amount help us provide respite and palliative care to Arizona children with life-threatening conditions.

Employee Giving Programs
Federal Employees
If you are a federal employee and your company participates in Communities Health Charities, please keep in mind that you can give to Ryan House through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which runs from September through December each year. Whether you donate $1, $10 or more per paycheck, or make a one-time donation, your contribution will go a long way in helping. Our CFC number is 40702.
Private Company Employees
Check with your payroll administrator to see if Ryan House is on your company’s list of approved charities in your workplace contribution campaign. If we are not listed, ask if you can write us in or have us added to the list.
City and State Employees
In addition to the CFC, the Ryan House participates in a variety of workplace campaigns. Please look for us in your workplace giving campaign brochure or just write us in.
Company Grants for Volunteer Time
Some companies will give grants to organizations where their employees volunteer. Ask your Human Resources department or Community Relations department if this is available at your company and how you can go about taking advantage of this great way to help us even more.
