One Volunteer’s Mission to Spark Wonder and Comfort at Ryan House

Author, DJ, and puppeteer John Janezic, along with his puppet pal, Louie the Cockroach, brings laughter, creativity and heart to Ryan House. John recently shared, “There’s a unique joy in encouraging imagination and inspiring play in these precious children, helping them find moments of wonder and escape.” Through storytelling and puppetry, John helps brighten the days of the children and families we serve, offering comfort, joy, and moments of peace. He’s also the author of Because Cockroaches Rule and 100% Loved, where Louie plays the leading role. John reminds us that compassion comes in many forms and sometimes, with googly eyes and antennae.
