Want to Work With Cute Kids? Looking for Clinical Volunteers!

We have openings for clinical volunteers! Sign up today and you’ll get to spend time at the house playing with kids on respite and helping our care team while families and loved ones take a short break from the 24/7 job of caring for their child with medical complexities.

Our volunteers are truly the backbone of our organization, and we cannot do the mission-critical work we do without you.

You can become a clinical volunteer by following these simple steps:

Fill out an application at this link.

Once received, Ashley Robinson, volunteer coordinator for our care partner, Hospice of the Valley, will reach out to you to discuss your interest and availability.

You’ll attend a one-time classroom training session where you will learn how to best engage, support, and most importantly play with our children.

Then you’ll be partnered with our Child life specialist or one of our current amazing volunteers for a “Shadow Shift” where you will learn all the ins and outs of our state-of-the-art respite facility as well as hands-on play with the children.

Once you feel comfortable in the house and with your volunteer duties, you are ready to join our elite team of creative, innovative, and wonderful volunteers!

There are many available shifts for throughout the week at all times of the day starting at 9 a.m. with our last shift ending at 8 p.m. If you have any questions about becoming a volunteer. reach out to Ashley at arobinson@hov.org  or (602) 326-7660.

We hope to see you in the house soon!
