Ryan House Names New Executive Director

Alyssa Crockett has been named executive director of Ryan House, a Phoenix-based nonprofit that provides respite, palliative and end-of-life care to Arizona children with life-threatening conditions.
She has served three years as individual giving director for Hospice of the Valley, a partner of Ryan House. Prior to that she directed fund-raising and publications for Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix.
“The Board of Directors is very pleased that Alyssa is joining us,” said Matt Winter, chairman of the Ryan House board. “She has a wealth of experience in non-profits, especially in the fundraising area, and she has a passion for Ryan House and the families we serve. All of us look forward to working with her to fulfill our mission.”
Ryan House opened in spring 2010 on the campus of St. Joseph’s Hospital in midtown Phoenix. The home provides 24/7 medical, social, emotional and spiritual support for children and families. Features include eight children’s bedrooms, three family suites, an outdoor playground, art, music, sensory and hydrotherapy rooms.
