May Staff Spotlight: Tiffany Cramer-Pierson, Clinical Volunteer Coordinator

This month, we’re so excited to introduce you to Ryan House’s new Clinical Volunteer Coordinator, Tiffany Cramer-Pierson!

What is one unique thing people don’t know about you – like a hobby, a former profession, or a place you’ve visited?

I lived in the jungle from the age of 7-9 with no electricity, running water, or housing with doors and learned how to collect water from the rivers, fry grasshoppers, grind corn, and basically survive with the Aztecs in a village called Teotitlan del Valle outside of Oaxaca, Mexico; I learned Spanish in a week and then Zapotec and became a young rug weaver.  They have been weaving there for over 2500 years.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

I would be a time traveler.

What did you want to be when you were younger? 

First a Shoe Designer

At the end of the day, I want to know that in some way, shape, or form I made a difference in someone’s life.  I am super happy to be a part of this amazing team and am looking forward to working with and for Ryan House peeps!
