Ryan House Names New Executive Director

Alyssa Crockett has been named executive director of Ryan House, a Phoenix-based nonprofit that provides respite, palliative and end-of-life care to Arizona children with life-threatening conditions.

 She has served three years as individual giving director for Hospice of the Valley, a partner of Ryan House. Prior to that she directed fund-raising and publications for Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix.

Runners braved the rain to show support for kids

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (March 4, 2014) – Ian Chapple, 39, and Louise Turner, 42, both of Scottsdale each won the Run for Ryan House at DC Ranch half marathon on Saturday, March 1, in the men’s and women’s categories respectively. Chapple finished in 1:21:16; Turner finished in 1:27:56.

Grandparents Unite to Support Children with Life-Threatening Conditions

Group Seeks New Members and Invites Public to a Grandparents Guild Social to Support Ryan House

Jan. 21, 2014- (Phoenix)- Grandparents from all over the Valley will be at Ryan House on Jan. 30, 2014, to show their support of child with life-threatening conditions.  The Ryan House Grandparents Guild is a committed and energetic group of Grandmas and Grandpas who wish to support the mission of Ryan House.  The Guild meets yearly and is currently welcoming new members to join the group. Annual membership are $100 per individual or $175 per couple which offers financial support to provide respite, palliative and end-of-life care to Arizona children facing life-threatening conditions.
