More than 700 Participants Attended the 2021 Run for Ryan House Which Grossed Nearly $73,000!

Nearly 800 runners, walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs attended and assisted in raising more than $73,000 at the 17th annual Run for Ryan House on Sunday, Nov. 7, which featured a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Family Fun Run at Riverview Park in Mesa.

Funds raised from this event will assist in Ryan House’s mission to continue to provide world-class care and programs for the children with medically fragile conditions and families it serves as they navigate life-limiting or end-of-life journeys.

The morning’s activities were chock full of fun and celebration as the event featured an expo area with a wide variety of Valley businesses sharing their info and product with event attendees. Plus, the Arizona Diamondbacks, D. Baxter, and Cardinals Cheerleaders were on hand milling around the crowd all morning.

The event would not be possible without the support of this year’s sponsors including Title Sponsor: Willlmeng, Gold Sponsors: Southwest Carpenter’s Union and Synergos, and our Silver Sponsors: Foothills Sports Medicine, Paisley Mae Foundation, Southwest Gas, and United Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. And, this year we also had Community Partners including Mesa Riverview shopping center, Outfront Media, and the Be Kind People Project. And, special thanks to StartLine Racing for their generosity for this year’s event.

“It was so wonderful to be able to host a safe, in-person event again, said Ryan House Executive Director Tracy Leonard-Warner. “Connecting with our community is the foundation of what keeps our doors open year after year. It’s because of the amazing support we received from our event sponsors and our incredible community, that we are thrilled to announce that our 17th annual Run for Ryan House was an incredible success.”
