Max’s Big Camp Out

You may have seen news reports of a 12-year-old British boy named Max, who has been camping out for nearly two years now to raise money for a local hospice that cared for his neighbor.

Max’s incredible effort continues to inspire people across the globe to join him on Saturday, March 26 for Max’s Big Camp Out. He is asking children (and adults) to have their own camp out to raise money for their favorite charity.

Following Max’s lead, we are joining Hospice of Michigan (who shared this amazing event with us) to raise awareness for pediatric palliative and end-of-life care and encourage everyone in our community to participate and raise money for Ryan House. To make each child’s camp out memorable, registered participants will receive a link to participate in a variety of activities including storytime, art projects, and a sing-a-long, compliments of Hospice of Michigan!

If you have children, grandchildren, or know anyone with children, please share this with them and ask them to participate.
