January Staff Spotlight: Taylor Kazemi, RN, BSN, Interim Clinical Nurse Liaison

We cannot think of a more perfect way to begin the new year than sharing Taylor Kazemi, RN, BSN’s motto from this month’s Staff Spotlight, which is “Living to Love.”

What is one unique thing people don’t know about you – like a hobby, a former profession, or a place you’ve visited?

My family is from Iran, and I love to cook Persian food!

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation! Imagine being able to travel the world in a blink of an eye.

What did you want to be when you were younger? 

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a veterinarian. From there, it transitioned to psychology and then nursing. I always wanted to work in a job where I could help others.

What is your favorite kind of music and/or band?

I love all kinds of music! My favorite genre is probably modern rock/alternative/indie rock. I enjoy listening to vinyl ????

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would you choose?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg

What is one thing you cannot live without?

Books!

What do you consider your motto in life?

My motto is “Living to Love.” This is something I got from my grandpa Jack. It is essentially how I want to live my life, giving love and compassion to everyone and everything on this earth.  

Is there anything else you’d like to share with the Ryan House community?

Just that I am so happy I was able to join the RH family once again. This place truly is so special and my heart is full being a part of all the incredible things we do here.
