Celebrating Five Years of Open Doors and Open Hearts

At the Breakfast we introduced our new logo, a little blue house nestled in the branches of a tree with heart-shaped leaves, and went live with our new website. Building on the original vision for Ryan House, the new logo and site articulate the warmth, love and world-class care Ryan House provides. We want to make it easy for you to volunteer, donate, and spread the word about our work.

The launch coincides with our fifth anniversary. In five years, Ryan House has provided nearly 9,000 days of respite to more than 530 children with life-limiting conditions and supported more than 240 children at end-of-life. Special thanks to Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, who joined our families, founders, volunteers and staff at our “Open Doors” celebration on March 29, 2015, and presented us with a surprise proclamation. We are most grateful for Mayor Stanton’s friendship to Ryan House. Please take a few minutes to explore our new website, watch the virtual tour of our home, and let us know what you think at info@ryanhouse.org.

Thank you to everyone who supported the 2015 Community Breakfast for your leadership and generosity. Alongside Tony La Russa, our Breakfast Committee, Board and Table Captains led the charge. Our corporate and individual sponsors made it possible for Ryan House to share its story with the community. And our families and dedicated volunteers were there every step of the way. We had a lot of fun making the Breakfast a sold-out event. Go Team Ryan!

The morning was a joyous celebration of the friendship and support we give our families as they navigate life-limiting and end-of-life journeys. The impact of this community’s support will be felt in the daily embrace of our children and families as we welcome them to Ryan House with open doors and open hearts.

Continued thanks and happy summer,

Alyssa Crockett, executive director
