Ryan House Means…
Ryan House means LOVE... Living Our Visions Empowered by all that the House gives to us. We live out our highest hopes and dreams because of all that the nurses, CNAs, staff, administrators, volunteers and donors give to our family. We can't imagine having reached our highest highs without you. And we fear moving through our toughest and lowest times without you.
Thank you for serving the Valley of the Sun for the past ten years! We know you are just getting started and we look forward to the next ten and the ten after those...and the ten after those...
With love and gratitude, Michelle, Jaad, LaVerne and FatimaRyan House means family. It's a place of comfort and belonging.
Zach, Ashley, Kellan and Connor CrowellRyan House means that we, as parents, can meet the needs of each family member. While we would love for our whole family to be together on vacations, Mattie's challenges limit the type of trips and activities we can do. And Mattie doesn’t typically enjoy the same kinds of experiences as the rest of us. Ryan House means that Mattie has a place he is excited to go to for vacation. He knows he will laugh, learn, play, and be loved while staying at the Ryan House. Ryan House means we can travel and know Mattie is safe and watched over. It means we can take a break from daily feedings and diaper changes and focus solely on the needs of our other children.
I remember when we drove away after dropping off Mattie for his first stay at the Ryan House. While I shed a few tears that we had to be separated, I was filled with joy and gratitude that he had a place to belong. I remember how the staff greeted us during the drop off procedure. I don’t know that I’ve met more kind or enthusiastic individuals! They were genuinely happy they had the chance to spend time with our son. The fact that Mattie regularly asks to go to the Ryan House is proof that he loves it there.
Ryan House means that our community recognizes our family challenges and wants to help. It means that not only do we think Mattie is important, but our community sees how special he is as well. Ryan House means that we are creating a culture where we love and care for one another.
Jon, Jane, Mattie, Nate, and Katie AndersenRyan House means so much to so many including the Junior League of Phoenix. We are proud to be a founding partner of Ryan House. I fondly remember selling Care Cards many years ago to help raise funds and learning about the plans for Ryan House. Congratulations on 10 incredible years of compassion and thank you for the support, peace and care you provide for families.
