You Can Make a Difference!
Ryan House will serve as the only respite and support home for children in Arizona. It will be the Southwest’s first essential respite provider in a home-like setting, and one of only two in the entire United States. Plus, through a unique partnership with Hospice of the Valley, it will also become the nation’s only respite and palliative-care home for children and adults.
To fund this pioneering facility, Ryan House has kicked off a capital campaign with the goal of securing $6.5 million in philanthropic donations from individuals, foundations and corporations, to be paid over three to five years.
This effort will provide the capital needed to furnish and equip Ryan House, and will cover three years of operating and programming expenses. Funding will come from the organization’s board of directors, which is 100% committed to the campaign, plus individuals, corporations, third-party and Ryan House events. As the fundraising support from the community grows, it will also provide validation of the acceptance of and need for the services of Ryan House in the community. Further, medical experts that representative of major local hospitals and pediatric practitioners continually validate the need.
Capital campaign donors will be offered a selection of commemorative naming opportunities based on the amount and date of their gift or commitment. Once capital campaign efforts are complete, Ryan House will support its operations through a combination of third-party reimbursements, fundraising, and grant support.
