The generosity and caring efforts of youth in our community are making a difference for Ryan House!
From children or youth asking for donations or gift cards to Ryan House in lieu of birthday gifts to those who have organized book drives, each action represents the very best “Caring Kids for Ryan House!”
Are you interested in becoming a Caring Kid for Ryan House? Here are some ideas:
- Girl scout troops have donated cookie sales to Ryan House
- The Lower School at Phoenix Country Day School has organized four “Ryan House Movie Nights” for lower school students benefiting Ryan House since the spring of 2007
- Fourth and Fifth grade students at Phoenix Country Day School created beautiful, cozy hand-knotted fleece blankets for Ryan House as their community service project in 2008-2009
- Grayhawk Elementary School selected Ryan House to benefit from a DVD movie drive one holiday season
- “We Care Kids-Anthem” has made beautiful glass bead bracelets to benefit Ryan House
- Eagle Scout candidate Ian Foulger of Troop 323 organized a car wash with his troop to raise funds for his Eagle Scout Project, “The State of the Art Music Cart.” He designed the mobile music therapy cart, filled it with amazing instruments, and donated the cart to the Board of Directors in February, 2010!
