Ryan House Volunteers
Volunteers are an integral part of the Ryan House Team. Every day, they make a difference interacting with children, working in the administrative offices or assisting at an event. Our volunteers help Ryan House provide services to children with life-threatening conditions and their families. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, there are a number of ways to support Ryan House through our Volunteer Program.
In-House Volunteers
In-House Volunteers assist clinical staff to meet the needs of the children and families staying at Ryan House. While the Care Team is responsible for all direct care, volunteers are actively involved in activities with the children such as reading, arts and crafts, games, music playing and more. In-House Volunteers may also assist with general housework, laundry or cooking, all which help to make Ryan House a home.
If you are interested in becoming an In-House Volunteer, please download or complete an application online through Hospice of the Valley. Please indicate “Ryan House” on the application. Accepted applicants will be required to complete volunteer training and orientation.
Community Volunteers
Community Volunteers perform a wide variety of tasks which help the administrative offices of Ryan House run efficiently. Assisting at a fundraising event, speaking at a community engagement, or completing clerical work in the office are just a few of the duties that this group of volunteers performs.
If you are interested in becoming a Community Volunteer, please download this application, complete and email it to apaul@ryanhouse.org. You may mail or fax it to:
