Judy Shannon – Interim Executive Director

Kim Knotter – Director of Fund Development

A professional fundraiser for over 20 years in Phoenix, Kim leads Ryan House’s ongoing efforts to raise funds, increase the Ryan House endowment and ensure community investment in our mission. She started her career at the Phoenix Art Museum as the first Corporate Relations Officer and has worked on behalf of several national nonprofits such as the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Planned Parenthood.

Susie Reis – Communications Coordinator

An active community volunteer, Susie’s talents and energy are focused on all aspects of communications, driving electronic, print, video and direct mail media. Offline or online, her focus is on applying her talents and organizational skills toward connecting community to the mission of Ryan House. She also sits on the Board of The Phoenix Cotillion, and is President of the Arcadia Volleyball Booster Club.

Holly Cottor – Community Liaison

Holly brings combines her deep experience as a parent of a child who lives with a life-threatening condition to the role of connecting directly with children, parents and siblings who are part of families like hers. Holly also focuses on working with medical professionals, community groups, community-based and grassroots organizations, and also condition-specific groups in order to increase understanding of and connection to the mission of Ryan House.

In addition to her first-hand experience with pediatric palliative care as a parent, Holly has both Bachelor and Master degrees in Education; in her teaching career, she focused on early interventions in literacy with at-risk students. Holly’s professional and personal background bring compassion and commitment to helping the community understand the critical importance of providing pediatric palliative care to children in need and their families.
